An Ode to Font is a series of three posters that represent the historical relationship between different typeface families. The typefaces I chose, Didot, Futura, and Fette Fraktur, were designed at least 100 years apart from one another and belong to different families of type classification. I wanted to honor the historical influence of each of the fonts. I crafted each poster to represent the ways in which they have molded a genre of typography, and pay tribute to their practical uses in print.
